I would love to one day click on “Find it!” and have it work. The articles I click on are most often are articles I need.
It would be interesting to know which journal articles you are having trouble finding. I would suggest noting which articles you can’t find and asking for help at the reference desk. Perhaps we can track a copy down for you. Often we have one or more links for a given article, or the article may be in a print journal and require looking in the CLUES catalogue to check its location.
This video might also help with Find it @ Concordia.
If Concordia doesn’t have a subscription to the journal you need, you can order a copy of the article through our handy and free Interlibrary Loan Service. To do this, you just need to log on to COLOMBO, and click on “create request” on the left hand side of the screen. Once you have copied and pasted in the information about the article you need, it usually arrives within a week or so.
Let us know when you can’t find the articles you need, and we will do our best to help you. If there are certain journals that you think the library ought to have, you can also let your subject librarian know.
